My first post! I'm excited about my new blog. I guess my goal is just to meet new people with the same interests as me. I like to go to flea markets and antique stores and look at vintage furniture, jewelry, clothes etc. Anything vintage!
I also plan to use this blog as a place to store some of my favorite pictures that I find on the web and to keep track of my favorite websites/blogs. Until next time... !

The Fall Guy
My nephew Cade and I are hooked on watching old episodes of The Fall Guy. It has everything you could ask for--two hunks, a cool truck and lots of action. Lee Majors and "Howie" (don't know his real name) are so hot! Colt Seavers is one cool cat. I bet Cade and I have watched at least ten different episodes together. They are so much fun to watch. Remember the theme song?
Well, I'm not the kind to kiss and tell,
But I've been seen with Farrah.
I'm never seen with anything less than a nine, so fine.
I've been on fire with Sally Field, Gone fast with a girl named Bo,
But somehow they just don't end up as mine.
It's a death defyin' life I lead, I take my chances.
I die for a livin' in the movies and TV.
But the hardest thing I ever do Is watch my leadin' ladies
Kiss some other guy while I'm bandagin' my knee.
I might fall from a tall building, I might roll a brand new car.
'Cause I'm the unknown stuntman that made Redford such a star.
I never spend much time in school But I taught ladies plenty.
It's true I hire my body out for pay, Hey Hey.
I've gotten burned over Cheryl Tiegs, Blown up for Raquel Welch.
But when I end up in the hay it's only hay, Hey Hey.
I might jump an open drawbridge, Or Tarzan from a vine.
'Cause I'm the unknown stuntman that makes Eastwood look so fine.

Good-Bye to the Gloved One
Wow. I can't believe Michael Jackson is gone. Only fifty years old--so sad. I still have my Thriller album in my closet. I would get it out and listen to it but it would be too sad. I have heard lots of mean things said about MJ even after his death, but mostly by people who are younger and did not grow up with his music and videos. They've only seen the "later" Michael, the "Wacko Jacko" of the media. I wish they could've known the thrill and awe that people felt (including me) when he danced and sang. His videos were so cool for their time. So, no matter what everyone else is saying, to me he seemed very soft spoken, timid and kind. I feel like a part of history is no longer with us and that he is leaving a void that can never be filled.
